Quick Reads for Years 5 & 6

A ‘Quick Read’ has less text than the books recommended in the ‘Must-Haves’ section. These books are great for struggling or reluctant readers in Year 5 as they are not too demanding, with a simple storyline and popular themes that aim to quickly draw the reader into the book and get them hooked! They are also great for good readers, who may still enjoy the themes, humour, illustrations or interactive elements of these quicker reads!
