Tassie can’t possibly be The Chosen One – she’s clumsy, impulsive, always gets herself in trouble, and if it wasn’t for her best friend Spin, she would be dead many times over by now. So what is The Wisest of he Wise on about, calling her The Chosen One?!? But her island is in danger, return of the evil Shadow is looming, and someone needs to save them.

Determined to help, Tassie goes on a quest to find the real Chosen One before it’s too late. Followed by three wraiths who are intent on destroying hger, Tassie joins forces with (griffin) Spin and (boy) Darley and attempts to not die before she finds the right person (or orc?) to save the island.

A hilarious book, this is the first one in a series, and I’m very much hoping it will one day be a film, because it’s perfect!
