The Brave Little Firework

When a tiny firework bursts into tears at the prospect of spirallingthrough the dark, her friends come up with a succession of ideas toencourage her to fly. At the outset, they offer to stay by her side, but Freya is afraid shemight lose them. Undeterred, they promise to shine brightly in the darkness so thatFreya knows where they are.

However, she hides her eyes whenshe’s frightened, and this plan is rejected. The persistent fireworks finally suggest making lots of noise whenthey’re up in the air, so even if Freya can’t see them, she’ll hearthem. Happy with this idea, Freya is able to find the courage she needsto leap into the night sky.
