Hide and Secrets by Sophie Mckenzie. A great read that does not hang about, page one and BOOM your in the thick of the story and unable to stop reading.
Cat’s dad died 17 months ago, presumed lost at sea, that was also when Bess her younger sister stopped speaking. The summer holidays have arrived and with it come a text telling her that her dads alive, a new friend and one giant mystery to solve.
This thriller is the perfect read for middle grade detective fans who are moving up to young adult fiction(not a single swear word in sight) perfect for 11+ and a must read for everyone else because I loved it!
