Tom’s Sausage LionAnimal Stories
“But it’s true,’ Tom shouted. ‘It was a real lion, I know it was.'”
Tom saw a lion padding through the orchard with a string of sausages dangling from its mouth. He knows he saw the lion – if it was a REAL lion – but no-one will believe him. No-one, that is, except Clare, the cleverest girl in Tom’s class. Why does Clare believe him? Because she knows something about Tom’s story that no-one else does.
Together they come up with a daring plan to prove Tom is telling the truth. They decide to get some hard evidence – to capture the lion on camera – but somehow things don’t turn out quite as they planned.
